Jackson Hospital celebrates its 2024 New Year’s baby, Atlas James Fisher, son of Michael and Kaitlyn Fisher

Board certified OB/GYN, Dr. Orlando Muniz, FACOG, delivered 7lbs 9oz,  Atlas on January 1 at 4:27AM.

Jackson Hospital presented Atlas and his parents with a cartload of goodies.  A case of diapers, wipes, and a $100 Walmart Gift Card was provided by the hospital and a gracious community member gifted a beautiful handmade blanket as she does for every New Year’s baby born at Jackson Hospital.

Mom, Kaitlyn, is a RN with Jackson Hospital and has been with the Maternal Care Department for two years.   Kaitlyn remarked, “The birth of your first child is such a precious and special day that is cherished for a lifetime.  Sharing that day with coworkers that have become family was the biggest blessing I could’ve asked for.  I may be biased but we truly have the best team of nurses who go above and beyond and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else care for me and my new little family.  It was such a special feeling not only being among friends but to also deliver the first baby of the year!  God has truly blessed us!”
