Special Procedures

Special procedures are diagnostic or therapeutic procedures usually performed under local anesthesia with some form of imaging guidance by a surgical specialist or a radiologist.

These procedures may be coupled with other imaging modalities such as CT or MRI to enhance the performance of these modalities and assist physicians in determining a treatment plan.

Special Procedures include:

• Joint Arthrograms
• Venograms
• Fistula/Sinus Tract Injection
