Operating Room

You will be taken to the operating room (OR) or procedural area on a stretcher/bed. You will be accompanied by a registered nurse. who will stay with you during your entire surgical procedure.
Once you arrive in the OR, one of our team members will help you move onto an OR bed. You will notice lights over your head, and the room will probably feel cool. You will be provided a warm blanket. The staff will be dressed in scrubs, hats and masks. Your nurse and anesthesia provider will explain everything to you and they will remain with you during surgery.
During surgery your family will be updated by the nurse on the progress of the surgery.
